Cabaret Dance Club Etiquette and Policies

Welcome! To ensure a respectful, safe, and enjoyable environment for all dancers, please review the policies below.

We appreciate every single one of you supporting the Cabaret.

General

  • Solicitation of any kind is prohibited.
  • Promotion of outside events, businesses, classes, or services within the studio is not permitted without prior approval from management.
  • Please do not recruit, encourage, or solicit Cabaret instructors, hosts, or staff to teach, host, or provide services outside of Cabaret Dance Club.
  • All guests must check in at the front desk before entering a group class, lesson, or social event.
  • Anyone under the age of 21 are not allowed, unless specifically approved by management.

Dress Code

  • Business casual attire is requested.
  • No jeans or athletic shorts.
  • Ladies wearing skirts or dresses must wear dance shorts underneath due to spins and movement.
  • Proper dance shoes recommended — avoid flip-flops, boots, or shoes that may damage the floor or cause injury.

Personal Hygiene

  • Social dancing is a close-contact activity — please maintain good hygiene.
  • Avoid strong odors including smoke or heavy perfume/cologne.
  • Breath mints available at the front desk — please use them if needed.
  • If you are feeling ill, please stay home.

Food & Beverages

  • No outside food or beverages are permitted during social dance parties.
  • Food and beverages are permitted during private lessons. Please clean up after yourself, as staff may not always be available to do so.
  • Birthdays and special celebrations are welcome. If bringing a cake, a $10 cleanup fee will apply.
  • Food and beverages are not permitted on the dance floor at any time.
  • If a spill occurs, please notify a staff member immediately so it can be cleaned promptly and safely.
  • Cork Fee is $10, and you cannot bring in wine that we already offer.

Safety & Facility Care

  • No candles allowed(birthday candles are the exception with approval) — they have previously caused damage.
  • No running, roughhousing, or unsafe behavior on the dance floor.
  • Please respect all sound equipment, lighting, and décor.
  • No Children or pets allowed at Parties.

Lesson & Party Guidelines

  • No private lessons 15 minutes before social parties — this time is for setup and transition.
  • Please clean up after yourself during lessons, as we might not be available for cleanup at all hours.
  • Please collect belongings and exit Club  within 10 min of the party ending so that we are able to properly close in a timely manner. 

Dance Floor Etiquette

  • Be aware of your surroundings; protect your partner and others from collisions.
  • Do not instruct other students unless asked — let the instructors teach.
  • Respect personal boundaries — ask before offering physical corrections.

Conduct & Respect

  • Beer and wine are available during designated events. Please drink responsibly and be respectful of fellow patrons.
  • Cabaret Dance Club is committed to maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Gossip, harassment, intimidation, disruptive behavior, or speaking negatively about fellow patrons, instructors, or staff will not be tolerated.
  • Please treat fellow dancers, instructors, staff, and guests with courtesy and respect at all times.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse service or remove any individual whose behavior is disruptive, inappropriate, unsafe, or inconsistent with these policies.
  • Phones are silent during classes and lessons.
  • No filming lessons, parties, or choreography without permission. No flash.
  • Be courteous to other patrons

Payments

  • All Parties and group classes must be paid upon entering. Please do not make us chase you down for your payment.
